Meet me in Nashville

Most of you know by now that we have live meetup in Nashville coming up January 26th and 27th. It is going to be an absolutely killer event and I want you there with us. So today, I thought I’d pull back the curtain a little bit and share with you some of the details so you know what we’re up to.

If you’ve been to one conference, you’ve been to all of them but what we wanted to do here is create something truly incredible because the last thing I want to do is sit in a hot, stuffy room for two days and be talked at. I can’t imagine you’d want to do that either.

So, at the risk, of giving away all of our ideas on how to run an effective meetup for men (unlike a lot of these conferences), let me break down eight things about this event you’re going to want to a part of.

Iron Council Evening

First things first, if you’re part of the Iron Council, you actually get an additional evening free of charge. There is no additional cost of this evening if you’re a member of the Iron Council so, if you are coming anyways or you’re on the fence about joining the Iron Council, now is the time to join and get registered for this extra evening.

Here’s how that will play out: We’re going to be hosting an exclusive Iron Council dinner so you can meet with me and the other high-caliber guys inside the Council then we’re going to have a fireside where we’ll cover the four quadrants we cover inside the Iron Council and hold each other accountable to some big plans we all have for the first quarter of the new year.

Venue

Now, as far as the venue goes, we’ve got a very cool barn in Nashville that will host us all as well as some other off-site locations so that we can participate in some of the activities we have planned.

One thing we wanted to be sure of is that this isn’t some hotel conference room. Again, we’re trying to create something unique, memorable, and conducive to growth moving into the new year.

Book Signing

The next part of this is a book signing. As many of you know by now, I’ve got a new book, Sovereignty: The Battle for the Hearts and Minds of Men, which is being released February 1st and, as an attendee, you’re going to get a signed copy of the book before it’s available to the public.

I’m also going to be interviewed about the message of the book and you’ll have the opportunity to ask your own questions of me too.

I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am about this book. I know it’s going to change lives. And, I want to get it in your hands before anyone else.

By the way, we’ll have extra copies of the book as well as other Order of Man merchandise for you to purchase.

Panels

Next, we’re going to be hosting several different panels for you to participate in. One on the topic of Entrepreneurship and one on the topic of family and fatherhood. You’ll be able to ask our experts your questions on those topics and get a ton of different ideas and perspectives into your work as a family man and a business man.

Networking

We’re also going to be having a networking session. This isn’t about turning to your neighbor to your left and right and introducing yourself. This is about focused networking with men in your region.

One of the most challenging things for men is finding their band of brothers and this is a perfect opportunity for you to meet with other men who are committed to being better men in your area.

Breakout Sessions

Next, we’ve got our breakout sessions. This is an opportunity for you to go to several different sessions from eight other men on the topics of mental and emotional resilience, financial sovereignty, transforming a marriage, the power of gratitude, living with intentionality, how it’s never too late to start something, and self-defense/jiu-jitsu class.

There are so many topics you can choose from so you’ll be able to find something you’re looking for.

Challenges

The next component is challenges. No Order of Man event would be complete without challenging you to do and be more.

So, each morning, we’ll start off with physical exercise and then scattered throughout the day there will be a series of challenges that will test you physically, mentally, and emotionally on the subjects of leadership, resilience, ingenuity, team work, and a couple other surprises up our sleeves.

Again, this isn’t a passive experience. It’s an active one. You’re going to have to go back to your life and that’s about getting in the game. There’s no amount of talk that can prepare you for what you’ll face in life. You have to do!

Firesides

And the last component I wanted to share with you is the firesides that we’ll be hosting. Men seem to do better when they’re sitting side-by-side, shoulder-to-shoulder united in a common purpose. And, that is the reason we do these firesides. It’s an opportunity to have focused discussions about some of our biggest challenges and the solutions we’ve all found through years of struggle and effort.

So, there it is guys, just a sampling of what we’ll be doing at the meetup in Nashville. Again, it’s the exclusive Iron Council evening, the amazing venue we have, book signing, panels, networking, breakout sessions, challenges, and the fireside. But, at the end of the day, it’s about proximity – proximity to other men who are wanting to do big things in their lives. I know you do too.

I hope to see you there. I hope to shake your hand. And, I hope to have a discussion with you about what it means to be a man and how to be a better one. If you’re ready to get registered, you can do that at www.orderofman.com/nashville. Again, that’s www.orderofman.com/nashville. The dates are January 26th and 27th, 2018

Until next week and until I see you in Nashville later this month, take action, and become the man you are meant to be.
